Been forever since I’ve blogged here! I have loads of stuff to share, first let me tell you about my newest designs.
The Snuggler Romper is now released after a VERY long bout of testing and development.
The ORIGINAL button-crotch romper, in development for over two years! You have a plethora of options with this unique romper pattern, chose a short-sleeve, shorts style summer Snuggler, or long winter version. Add ruffles or lace for a girly romper or make it boyish with more masculine styling.
Included in the Snuggler romper pattern (which is sized more like an ebook!) is the two style options of open at the crotch for easy access to the bottom for diaper changes or closed for a full coverage, pant leg style. Snuggler rompers feature a unique shape, this is no knitted tube with legs and sleeves!
You can add a hood, footies for the small sizes, ANIMAL ears to your hood and button-on mitts or feet for the newborn size. Chose an offset button chest so you can add a hoodie pocket to the front- perfect for the adventurous toddler!
You may also chose to make your romper in half linen stitch for a completely original and unique look. It’s like getting TWO patterns in ONE! In the half linen version you will need slightly larger needles to achieve proper gauge.
I would rate this as an advanced beginner to intermediate pattern.
Simply, a cardigan is the first version of three cardigan patterns. Simply is a cardigan that is truly a very simple knit. A top down, raglan style cardigan that you can work up in either stockinette or half linen stitch. Choose to make a sleeveless vest and select from a varied number of hem and cuff stitches. Other options include adding a hood or an offset chest. This is the preemie to toddler version, larger child sizes will soon be offered in a new pattern. I’m also hoping to develop this into an adult design.
I have more designs in the works, but mum’s the word for now until the designs are ready to publish. 😉 I’m also working on getting a new WAHM KK Licensee page up here on the blog. It will include a directory of WAHMs that are licensed to sell knitted items from my designs. This used to be on the KK Hyenacart, but they had some hacking issues over the summer that caused many of my clients to become concerned with the security of the site. Hyenacart has since fixed the issues, but I am now selling designs at a Meylah shop instead.
Lastly, a blog renovation is in the works and once finished you’ll be able to purchase my designs directly from a page here as well. Happy knitting and be on the lookout for a new post on my latest tonal semi solid yarns!
